Turn it off

Turn off your cell turn off your computer and TV,
Today we’ll sit around and talk that’s right just you and me,
We’ll talk about things from our pasts,
Things that make us smile,
We’ll talk about times that went by fast,
Things we haven’t thought about in a while
About laughs and cries and joys and hopes and we’ll talk about dreams,
About love and about happiness and about what the world really means.

I'll love you twice as much tomorrow as I do today

Night after night,
And day after day,
He swears his love,
Will never go away,
No matter what happens,
He will always say,
I'll love you twice as much tomorrow,
As I do today,

Her Eyes

Big blue and captivating,
Her eyes take me in deep,
I love the way she stares,
How her eyes light up when she laughs,
She is just so amazing,
I could never let her go.

Brighter on the other side

The sun always shines brighter on the other side,
In a place where you never need to run and hide,
Where they bathe in happiness and sleep in love,
Where everything is as peaceful as a single white dove,
I pray to find this place one day,
So you and I can run away,
Nothing here means to me what you do,
And we both know you feel the same way too

Pain

Pain is hurt,
Hurt is Pain,
If you can't take it,
Don't play the game,
If you want love,
You gotta have hate,
Cause this is the world,
and It's not a fair place.

The Broken Hearted Man

People make mistakes that's all he said,
Don't let worrying about this keep you from bed,
Mixed tears sad and happy stream all down her face,
Why would he forgive she is so amazed,
It isn't much longer until it happens once more,
She is very upset twice as much as before,
He says he still loves her and that its all okay,
He really can't bare to ruin her day,
Now as time goes on its only getting worse,
He doesn't know how to rid himself of this curse,
He gives it his all but gets none in return,
He hopes and he wishes that one day she'll learn,
She has become unfair, vicious and mean,
This once was so perfect it was just like a dream,
He throws the ball back into her court,
The only way this can be saved is with her total support,
So goodbye for now until she decides to lend a hand,
And that is the story of the broken hearted man.

Relax Take a Breath

Relax take a breath it will all be over soon,
Just imagine your floating along in a hot air balloon,
High above all that is below,
You can look down upon your struggles and just let them go,
No worries no fear no sorrow or regret,
Trust me this bliss is as good as it gets,
Enjoy what you got cause you never know what you'll lose,
Because this is life your living and you never get to choose.

Stress

Like an ant nibbling a cookie,
Stress slowly eats him away,
Can't eat or sleep or even think,
It gets worse every single day,
The mind numbing 26 symbols,
Cemented deep within his head,
His eyelids so very tired,
He's sure they're made of lead,
Arms aching along with legs and back,
He lets out a long weary sigh,
He wishes he could just relax,
And float up to sleep in the sky.

Midterms

So much done and yet so much to go,
These facts which I don't need to know,
Must study all night can't sleep a wink,
The last thing my brain wants to do is think,
These books are meaningless to me,
The pages all white as far as I can see,
Well I must go now and study more,
Gosh why is school such a bore.

Alone

He sat there thinking all alone,
Not a single message on his phone,
No friends and his family doesn't care,
of his presence the world is unaware,
Longing for love friendship and more,
He prays the world will open a door,
To a new place bright and alive,
So that he no longer has to hide.

The Feeling of Warmth From the Sun on My Back

The feeling of warmth from the sun on my back,
A feeling which I sadly lack,
A feeling of freedom hope and dreams,
A feeling that I've lost it seems,
There is nothing more for which I'd ask,
Just the feeling of warmth from the sun on my back.
