All Nighter

Too much work for the day,
So I'll stay up all night,
Long after the world goes to bed
When there's no longer any light,
So tired that my eyes are stinging
And my neck will soon collapse,
Maybe if I just rest my head,
If only for a second on my lap,
There's no crickets out cause they're long gone,
And my bed is calling my name,
Too much work has been assigned,
If only my teachers felt the same,
Well I must go now and finish quick,
So I can get some rest,
All I ask for is some sleep,
That is my only quest.
