Cage

I cannot sleep in the night,
I can only sleep during day,
Ever since you broke my heart,
My life has been this way,
I feel no pain from anything,
My shattered soul has made me numb,
I can’t ever think straight I’m so confused,
This tragedy has made me dumb,
So please release me from this cage,
And let me fly away,
Because I can’t stay any longer,
I cannot die today.
